Dialogue: Asking the way.

ABOUT MYSELF

Let me introduce myself. My name is Igor Litvinov. I was born on the 15th of February 1992 in Kazan. I am not married yet, so I live with my mother, father and sister.

My father is 45 years old. He is an engineer. He works in an office of a big company. He is always busy. He has very little free time. He likes his job and there are chances of promotion.

My mother is 42 years old. She is a doctor and works in a hospital. Of course, she combines work with housekeeping and does it perfectly. I always help her.

My sister Olga is 23. She graduated from the University not long ago and now she is a post-graduate student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages. Olga is looking for a job. She wants to work in a foreign company.

I work in a trade company and I study at the Kazan Cooperative Institute of Russian Cooperative University. I study by correspondence.

My day starts at 6 o’clock when I wake up. I take a shower, do my morning exercises and have breakfast. I usually eat sandwiches and drink tea or juice; sometimes I eat porridge or fried eggs.

At 7 o’clock I leave for my work. I usually go by bus or metro. It takes me an hour to get there, so I listen to music or audio books. My working hours are from 8 till 5 o`clock. My duties at work are to advertise our goods, to arrange business meetings, to hold talks and so on.

When I have lessons at the Institute I finish my work earlier. The classes start at 2 o`clock. We usually have three of four lectures and seminars a day. I like history lectures because they are interesting and easy for me. But higher mathematics is quite difficult.

I come home at about 8. I have supper, watch TV, read or study English. I need it for my work, so I must work hard.
