1. Review the information you have learned from the lecture on the types of translation paying special attention to written informative translation.

2. Search the Internet for information on one of the informative text types.

3. Analyze the information you have found to distinguish the most important facts about the type of translation you are going to speak about.

4. Make up a Power Point presentation (10 slides).

5. Prepare for presenting your information in class and discussing it with other students.

- big oil and gas corporation;

- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- UN.

4. Prepare for the role-playing a job-interview in one of these organizations with other students.
