XXXII. How to manage time?

A: Translate Diana’s interview. Try to give Russian equivalents to the following expressions from the text: to fit time frame, a «to do list», to keep track of, due date, item, time slot

Time management

Time management means scheduling activitiesfrom the most to least important in a way that fits your time frame. We are active, with many places to go and lots to do. If we learn to manage our time wisely, we will be able to do more things. Your time can be managed in a variety of ways. Many people make «to do lists».

However, this is not always enough for us, teenagers, because we tend to forget how much time we have and we delay doing something because we do not want to do it. Many schools give students agendasto help them organise their homework, projects and other assignments. Students at my school find these useful for keeping tracks of marks, homework and long-term assignments. For keeping track of your extra-curricularactivities, such as sports and clubs, calendarshave always been useful.

Time can be managed in a simple way. First, write down

everything you have to complete within the day, week, month, etc. Then, recordthe due date for each and how long it will take to do. From there, puteach item into a time slot so that everything is given the proper amount oftime. By using this method, you can be organised and have plenty of time to lead a stress-free, well-rounded life.
